4DX – the world’s first 4D cinema technology for feature films – has been expanding its reach into the global market, making partnerships with new powerful multiplex operators all over the world and opening new 4DX sites through the strong partnerships with existing partners.
Following that pattern, 4DX has signed a partnership with Nu Metro Cinemas (South Africa), with the South African location being the first 4DX site in all of Africa. Nu Metro Cinemas, the fast-growing South African cinema operator will bring 4DX to African movie-goers for the first time. The first South African location to feature 4DX, scheduled to open before the end of 2015, will be at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town - Africa’s largest and most popular tourist attraction. With this new agreement, 4DX has broadened its global market reach and will have screens on five of the six inhabitable continents.
