Labodigital, the exclusive distributor of HTS products (Highlands Technologies Solutions)
in Mexico, confirms the recent acquisition of Qalif calibration equipment by Cinemex, a leading exhibitor in Mexico.
The Qalif
Optimizer is a calibration tool that measures the
light and sound in movie theaters. Fully
integrated into digital cinema workflows, it will automatically adjust the projector to secure a perfect focus and optimal lightdistribution across the screen. The device also performs
spectrum analysis on all audio channels.
Qalif products have been used consistently at
important international events in the film industry, such as the Cannes Film
Festival and CinemaCon.
As part of the sale, Labodigital will install 113
Qalif Optimizers at different Cinemex theatres on its first deployment and 95 more
throughout the year.
