With large orders of Panasonic DLP™ projectors from various locations, such as Europe, India, China, and Korea, the total number of DLP projector installations has already reached 1,200 units, and is expected to grow substantially over the next few years.
Panasonic supplies three types of DLP™ projectors to cinema theaters: PT-D7700 -- 3 panel DLPTM,1400 x 1050 resolution, 7000 lumens of brightness and 4000:1*1 contrast ratio; PT-DW7000 -- 3 panel DLP™, 1366 x 768 resolution, 6000 lumens of brightness, and 4000:1*1 contrast ratio; and PT-D5500-- single panel DLP™, 1024 x 768 resolution, 5000 lumens of brightness, and 1600:1*1contrast ratio.
