Unique X Launches DCP Delivery via Movie Transit in South Africa
Unique
X is delighted to announce the addition of South Africa to the ever expanding
Movie Transit DCP delivery network. With the roll out of the network ongoing to
South African Exhibitors, the addition of this key territory sees the Movie
Transit network deployed and delivering DCP content to digital cinema, via
broadband, in over a dozen Territories worldwide.
The
Movie Transit network is part of the world’s largest broadband DCP delivery
network, spanning more than 2,800 connected cinemas. In the first 6 months of
2019, Movie Transit delivered a staggering 16.7PB of data to its worldwide
networks.
The
roll out in South Africa joins the Movie Transit networks installed in the UK,
Ireland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia
and Spain.
