Microphone files conversion application to make existing
microphones Ovation
2
-compatible
First, we created an application to convert manufacturer calibration files.
The application already supports the most common calibration microphones in the
cinema market, knowingly the Acoustx D2 and Beyerdynamic MM1.
Installers willing to use the Ovation
2 but already equipped can, therefore, send us the
compensation files of their microphones, which we will convert to an Ovation
2 compatible
format.
Going forward, we have the ability to convert for any brand, given the proper data and
based on the number of requests for any given microphone model.
More compact and lighter 4-microphone calibration kit
Secondly, we created a 4 XLR shielded ethernet cable box, a quarter the size of our 8 mic
box, for a quick and easy run to the processor.
Our dealers can take orders beginning at Showeast Miami and beyond at an affordable
$100/€100 list price.
Later in the fall, we will begin supplying our complete 4 mic kit for customers who want a
self-contained option, using Acoustx D2 mics and roughly ¼ the size and weight of our 8
mic kit.
