The Inter-Society for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation, Inc. promotes interactive dialogue and information exchange between cinema-related entities with the goal of resolving issues affecting the overall cinema presentation. Founded in 1978 by Eastman Kodak VP Ken Mason, membership is composed of its four charter trade organizations - International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA), the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) - along with over 40 member companies, made up of trade organizations, motion picture studios, exhibition companies, manufacturers, technical consultants, and other industry stakeholders.
 




The International Cinema Technology Association is a global network of professionals in the motion picture industry. Members of the ICTA are those companies that manufacture, service and create the equipment that goes into movie theatres. ShowEast 2022 scheduled to be held in Miami from Oct 17-20, 2022 at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, features a range of exclusive product presentations and screenings from both Independent and Major Hollywood studios to help you make important programming decisions for the 4th quarter box office.  Powerhouse seminars offer valuable insight from top executives on the latest industry trends and concerns; while our EXPO experience offers delegates a glance at the latest and best technologies, entertainment, services, comforts, and conveniences to make their theatres must-attend destinations.  ShowEast’s International program draws a large contingency of Latin and South American delegates – more than any other convention of its kind. CineEurope 2022, has been scheduled for June 20-23, 2022 in Barcelona.  CineEurope promises to bring you another year with the very best in exclusive studio screenings and product presentations, cinematic technologies and innovations and educational seminars to keep your business on top of industry trends.



CineAsia 2022 has been scheduled for Dec 5-8, 2022 in Bangkok.  Check links for more information.  The CineAsia trade show is where cinema exhibition and distribution professional come to do business and network. VUE Selects Unique X’s Suite of Products for Entire European Circuit

Unique X, the world’s leading cinema software and content delivery company is proud to announce a new agreement with VUE International to supply it’s suite of sophisticated autonomous cinema products to all theatres across the VUE circuit.
 
Unique X will supply RosettaBridge Theatre Management System, RosettaNet Circuit Management System, BaseKey and RosettaLive to all cinemas. In Poland VUE will additionally deploy Advertising Accord and Smart Trailering for preshow services. Existing agreements for Smart Trailering and Unique X’s global DCP delivery platform MovieTransit will be extended in selected territories.
 
This agreement adds 1,992 screens across 228 cinemas in UK, Ireland, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Poland, Netherlands and Lithuania, further strengthening Unique X’s position as the leading supplier of intelligent, autonomous cinemas software solutions.
 
RosettaBridge Theatre Management System is the cinema’s operational hub, integrating with cinemas  POS for schedule, creating ShowPlayList from templates to build shows, allowing pre-show integration with an advertising or trailer provider. With centralised territory wide content and playlist management functions, RosettaNet Circuit Management System can guarantee the continuity of showings across all sites, ensuring the same high-quality product is delivered to all shows for all customers, at whichever site. Basekey ensures KDMs are delivered safely and fully automatic to cinemas, removing the need for manual intervention to ingest KDMs in cinemas. Smart Trailering is the only trailer scheduling solution in the market which allows film departments to centrally schedule trailer campaigns from an intuitive user interface, with automated delivery into the SPL.
