More2screen to Distribute New Theatre Production Broadway’s Romeo and Juliet Starring Orlando Bloom To Cinemas Worldwide
British actor Orlando Bloom’s acclaimed performance in the recent Broadway production of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is to be made available to cinema audiences worldwide (ex US and Canada) from 1 April 2014 by London-based distributor More2Screen.
Filmed live at the Richard Rogers Theatre on Broadway in November 2013, it features Orlando Bloom (Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lord of the Rings) as Romeo and two-time Tony Award® nominee Condola Rashad as Juliet. Critics and New York audiences alike have welcomed the new energy and contemporary feel the production brings to the timeless story of the world’s most famous star-crossed lovers.
