Cielo Signs Circuit-Wide Partnership with Wehrenberg Theatres

The deal brings Cielo’s cloud-based monitoring and support platform to over 1,000 screens in the United States
Cinema Equipment and Supplies – CE+S – a global leader in digital cinema solutions announced today that Wehrenberg Theatres, the oldest and largest family-owned movie theater chain in America, has chosen and deployed Cielo, CE+S’ cloud-based monitoring and support platform, across Wehrenberg’s 213 screen circuit on July 1st, 2016.

Since its launch at CinemaCon in 2015, Cielo has taken the movie industry by storm, bringing to market the first-ever, cloud-based remote monitoring and technical support platform. Wehrenberg Theatres identified Cielo’s technology as a turning point in a new era of theater operations, allowing them to proactively manage their business with unmatched mobility and real-time visibility.

“We are very excited about our new partnership with CE+S and the deployment of Cielo throughout our theaters,” said Bill Menke, President at Wehrenberg Theatres. “Cielo’s technology will become a key asset in effectively managing our day-to-day operations and exceeding our standards of service to our customers.”

“This new deal with Wehrenberg Theatres shows the increasing demand from exhibitors to join the Internet of Things (IoT) era with innovative, easy-to-use technology that simplifies their circuits’ operations,” said Alex Younger, VP, Sales at CE+S. “Cielo focuses on delivering the most precise, real-time insights into the exhibitor’s business at the palm of their hands.”

Cielo’s cutting edge mobile management capabilities combined with its unsurpassed intelligence and analytics reporting features will allow Wehrenberg Theatres to drive greater strategic business decisions and improve operational efficiencies while focusing on what matters most to them: continuing to offer the highest level of customer experience to their theater audiences.

Cielo has been deployed to Wehrenberg’s 15 sites and 213 screens across Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota and Missouri, including nine theaters with 131 screens in the St. Louis Metropolitan area. As part of the services included with Cielo, Wehrenberg Theatres will have access to Cielo On-Site, an added feature that offers rapid-response local technical support at the client’s site. The implementation of Cielo is just the beginning of a growing partnership between CE+S and Wehrenberg Theatres that will include multiple end-to-end technology solutions.
