GDC Technology helped usher in a vibrant new digital era in China when it successfully installed the country’s very first digital cinema server in Shanghai in 2002. Its extensive industry knowledge and longstanding collaborative relationships with customers has provided a solid foundation for its expansion in the region.

On top of the remarkable success of its digital cinema servers, GDC Technology has reported impressive accomplishments with its Theatre Management System (TMS) and comprehensive service support network. Covering close to 3,000 screens across 400 theatres managed by its TMS in China, exhibitors can automate and streamline their theatre operations with a centralized point of control.
GDC Technology seeks to facilitate optimal 24x7 theatre operations for exhibitors through a reliable service network that is supported by 10 local service centers which handle installations, inspections, repairs, preventive checking and maintenance. In addition to establishing two local Network Operations Center (NOCs) located in Beijing and Shenzhen to promote efficient service to its vast user base in China, GDC Technology also offers complementary user and service-level certification trainings for exhibitors and partners, providing them with practical hands-on experience with its products.
