GDC Technology Limited (“GDC Technology”), a world leading digital cinema solutions provider, is proud to announce a milestone achievement after Cinemex, one of the company’s largest customers worldwide, recently installed its 2,000th GDC digital cinema server, with plans to further expand in 2015 by installing GDC’s SX-3000 Standalone Integrated Media Block™ (“SX-3000 IMB™”) in its theaters.
As the world’s sixth largest cinema circuit, with more than 270 locations in Mexico –including particularly strong roots in Mexico City – Cinemex is a rapidly growing cinema theater chain. With an established footprint in that country, it is now seeking to increase its presence elsewhere in Latin America and also in the U.S. Walking hand in hand with Cinemex as it rolls out its growth strategy is GDC. The relationship between the two companies dates back to 2011. Just four years later, Cinemex has installed its 2,000th GDC server and equipped its entire circuit with GDC’s SX-2000AR digital cinema servers with integrated media block (“IMB”). As 2015 ripens, GDC and Cinemex are continuing their prosperous relationship.
