Sonic Equipment Company is pleased to announce that Ron Hageman will be assuming the primary role of Executive Director beginning September 10, 2015. An employee of Sonic Equipment since 2006, Hageman has worked in many diverse and challenging roles for the cinema service company ranging from construction manager to digital cinema installer to Director of Sonic Services. Hageman was also instrumental in the creation and implementation of the hugely successful Sonic Operational Solutions (SOS), the company’s remote monitoring service and call center.
As Executive Director, Hageman will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the equipment company as well as provide strategic direction, working closely with theater owners and the Sonic executive management to ensure quality and excellence up and down the chain. When asked about his vision for the future of Sonic, Hageman said, “I couldn’t be more honored to have the opportunity to lead such an exceptional company or more confident in our team’s ability to continue to provide the very best service and support for our customers.”
Hageman succeeds longtime Executive Director Eric Olson, who will remain with the company as Director of Sales. Olson will now be on the road meeting with current and potential new customers to expand the Company footprint. Hageman said “Eric is a terrific salesman with great connections. Allowing him to concentrate on sales is a terrific opportunity for Sonic. His work ethic, and passion for the industry and appreciation for Sonic’s portfolio of clients will continue to benefit the organization as he transitions into his new role”.
