Bardan Cinema, a full-service cinema distributor and digital integrator offering a turnkey portfolio of products and services to build out, enhance and maintain cinemas throughout the Americas, recently exhibited at EXPOCINE/15 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The show was geared toward exhibitors, distributors and suppliers of technologies, services and products for the exhibition market.
Bardan met with customers regarding the implementation of the latest three-dimensional Dolby Atmos solutions that promise to enhance the audio experience for cinema goers. They also met with cinema and large-venue owners to present Barco’s Lobby Domination Experience and X20 media platform packages.
Just last month, Bardan and Barco announced an exclusive Latin America distribution agreement between the two companies.
“There is no question, today’s consumer wants to be wowed,” said Vilma Benitez, CEO of Bardan Cinema. “Cinema owners need to differentiate themselves with distinctive, impactful and interactive experiences for their customers.”
Barco/Bardan is offering the X20 media platform not only for cinema owners but for operators of malls, hotels, live entertainment and sports venues. There are additional applications for the distance learning and telemedicine markets, as well. X20 enables venue owners to create, manage and deliver real-time information, visuals and video from any source to any screen, anywhere via its powerful network platform.
“The Latin American cinema market is experiencing a renaissance,” added Benitez. “Most exhibitors have or are in the final stages of digitizing; they are now focused on implementing innovative visual and audio communications platforms to keep their customers coming back.”
